Frequently Asked Questions

Financial Advice

Your initial consultation is complimentary and designed to help us understand you. We talk through your goals, values, priorities and future plans, along with where you’re currently positioned financially. This conversation helps us understand what matters most and how we may be able to support you.

We also outline how our advice process works and where we can add value. After the meeting, we take a closer look at your financial position using further research and analysis. This allows us to challenge your current setup where needed and identify opportunities to improve your financial outcomes.

Our advice process is designed to give you clarity, confidence and a clear plan forward. You can explore our full advice process through the link below, which explains each step in detail and what you can expect at every stage.

The fees charged for our advice and services may be based on a combination of a set dollar amount, or a percentage-based fee. Our agreed advice and service fees may include charges for one off or regular fees. We may also receive initial or ongoing commissions from certain product providers. We will discuss and agree the actual fees with you before we proceed and where relevant the fees and commissions will be disclosed in the advice document provided to you. Further information is contained within our FSCG’s.

You can find the individual FSCG or adviser profile for each respective adviser, linked in our team pages. You can also find them linked in our Governance hub.

Our existing clients meet with their adviser formally, generally once a year. If your situation is more complex or you are going through a change of situation, you may meet more than that.

The cost of financial advice depends on the complexity of your circumstances, your lifestyle, and your goals. You can explore our full pricing and package options here for a clearer idea of what’s involved.

Financial advice is beneficial to everyone, you don’t need to have a specific amount or meet a certain threshold to speak with an adviser. We’re here to help you build confidence and clarity, no matter where you’re starting from.

Yes - we offer both online and in‑person meetings, depending on what suits your situation and convenience. We’re here to make getting advice as easy and accessible as possible.

All our advisers meet, and often exceed, the professional standards set by Australian law. To provide personal financial advice in Australia, advisers must complete a combination of formal education, professional training, and ongoing ethical and development requirements.

We match you with an adviser based on your needs, goals and the areas of advice you’re seeking, so you’re supported by someone with the right experience for your situation.

If you’ve been referred to a specific adviser, or already have someone in mind you’d like to work with, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preference. We understand that choosing an adviser is a personal decision, and your comfort and trust matter.

If at any point you feel another adviser may be a better fit, we encourage you to tell us. Our priority is making sure you’re working with the adviser who’s right for you.

Yes — we have a number of highly skilled and experienced female advisers on our team. We’re proud to offer clients the option to work with an adviser they feel most comfortable with.

Most of our clients choose to work with us on an ongoing basis, as this allows us to provide advice that evolves with your life, goals and circumstances. Ongoing advice helps ensure your strategy stays relevant, up to date and aligned with what matters most to you.

That said, we understand that everyone’s needs are different. In certain situations, we can provide once-off advice where it’s appropriate. We’ll talk with you about your goals and circumstances to help determine the approach that best suits you.

There’s no single “right” time to speak with a financial adviser but starting earlier can make a meaningful difference to your long‑term outcomes. The sooner you begin your financial advice journey, the more time you have to build, grow, and refine your strategy as life evolves.

If you’re invested through our Self-Managed Accounts (SMA), you’ll receive your reports quarterly via email.

For other investments, statements and reports are available directly through the relevant product providers, which you can access using your online account details. Your adviser will also review your performance and key information with you as part of your annual progress meeting, and is always available to help if you have questions or need assistance accessing your reports.
