Raised on the Gold Coast, he began his career as a surf instructor while studying Finance and Marketing at Griffith University before transitioning into financial planning. He joined Advice First in 2007, became a partner in 2016, and following the 2022 merger, brings his expertise to Ironbark Advice.
Trent finds retirement planning particularly rewarding, helping clients turn long-held dreams into reality and build fulfilling lifestyles for their retirement years. He holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services, and his client-focused approach was recognised with the Most Trusted Adviser award in 2023.
Outside of work, Trent enjoys surfing, spending time with his family, and volunteering at the Mermaid Surf Life Saving Club.
