The Fund employs Robeco’s quantitative systematic investment approach to enhance market cap weighted indices through the integration of valuation, momentum, quality, and certain environmental, social and corporate governance (’ESG’) characteristics and sustainability risks in the investment process. Robeco’s proprietary portfolio construction process efficiently balances risk, return, and sustainability considerations to provide investors with a well-diversified portfolio of companies in developed markets around the globe, similar to that of an index but with a potentially improved risk-return and sustainability profile.
